2024 Get Grant Ready Workshop

Join us for a virtual workshop designed to provide step-by-step training on using the Get Grant Ready (GGR) template, a powerful tool that helps communities develop their ideas into actionable, fundable projects.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

  • Overview of the "Get Grant Ready" Template and Guidelines (yours to keep!)
  • How to organize and flesh out your project ideas to make them implementation-ready
  • Deep dive session on how to use the template and tailor it to your specific project
  • Practical uses of the template for:
    • Crafting communications and messaging around your project
    • Delivering effective presentations to funders
    • Engaging your community with clear project goals
  • Hear from past Get Grant Ready Workshop and Pitch Fest participants on their success stories
  • Q&A session to address your specific questions and challenges

This workshop will equip you with the tools, insights, and confidence to bring your ideas to life, secure funding, and make an impact in your community.

  • Are you a rural, underserved Montana community with a population under 5,000?
  • Do you have a nature-based/outdoor recreation project idea for your community?
  • Need a little one-on-one help to turn your idea into action?
  • Are you registered for the Get Grant Ready Workshop on December 5th?

We invite you to apply for Get Grant Ready "Project Pitch Fest"! Application closes November 25th.

The Heart of the Rockies Initiative brings local wisdom, global perspective, and the latest science together to conserve the most valuable private land habitat, at a scale that conserves ecosystems, protects our agricultural heritage, and helps North America adapt to climate change.

Their initiative is unique in the conservation arena in that they partner with and support 27 land trusts in the northern Rockies that work every day on land conservation for both agricultural families and fish and wildlife.

Their work is grounded in the knowledge and experience of their partners, the best available science, and a deep trust in collaboration as a tool to create effective conservation practices.
